How Starlink Works

Most satellite internet services come from single geostationary satellites that orbit the planet at 35,786 km.

As a result, the round trip data time between the user and satellite—also known as latency—is high, making it nearly impossible to support streaming, online gaming, video calls or other high data rate activities.

Starlink is a constellation of thousands of satellites that orbit the planet much closer to Earth, at about 550km, and cover the entire globe.

Because Starlink satellites are in a low orbit, latency is significantly lower—around 25 ms vs 600+ ms.

How do I setup Starlink?

Find a clear view of the sky. Use the "Check for Obstructions" tool on the Starlink app to find the install location that will deliver the best service.
Plug Starlink into power.
Within a few minutes, your Starlink will connect to satellites. Use the alignment tool to position Starlink to connect to satellites overhead.
Connect to high-speed Starlink internet from your device!

Deliveries to Great Britain (England, Scotland, Wales)

Most products are available with free delivery across the UK excluding remote regions.** The product page will clearly state whether the item is available for delivery in the UK or delivery within N.I only.

Parcel sized items are delivered via DPD UK fully tracked & insured. (Coffee machines, speakers, etc etc)
Large appliances/BBQs & TVs are shipped on a pallet delivery service which is also fully tracked & insured. The delivery company will call to arrange a suitable date for delivery.
Deliveries can be held for a targeted date if you're not ready to receive the goods.

Delivery lead times are updated in real-time on the product page (the availability bar).

For in stock items it will either be 1-2 working days or 3-5 working days depending on the exact time you place your order. For the avoidance of doubt give the team a call.

There are no Brexit/custom charges & the price quoted is delivered to the door.

Timed Deliveries:

Parcel sized items will provide tracking updates via text. You will get a notification on the morning of delivery with your one hour window.
Pallet deliveries will be booked in advance and are typically morning or afternoon slots.
Items can be held upon request if you are not going to be ready for the goods.

Collect at store:

Order to collect at store is available Monday to Friday. This option will be presented at checkout.
